This past Sunday, I had two celebrations to attend. I was only able to attend the second one.

The first one was a Celebration of Life for our friend Tony. Tony was a Legal Aid attorney for many years, and very politically active. He had a somewhat confused relationship with his wife, (at least to those of us looking in), had 4 sons, and grandchildren. He had many friends all over the country.

Tony had atrial fibrillation (a-fib) for many years, but handled it medically. Before he went on this last trip to the East Coast to visit friends and family, he went to the doctor to make sure it was ok to make the trip. The doctor told him he was fine. When he was at the East Coast, he visited the ER to check up on it. While he was in the ER, he died suddenly.

Clearly, he was making completions and felt at peace with himself.

His wife said he had written her shortly before he died. In the email he said he was happier than he had ever been at any point in his life. He had lost weight, had gotten back into a meditation practice, and had seen people he hadn’t seen in a while. Clearly, he was making completions and felt at peace with himself. After his death, he got to transition to a different place, based on what he had completed in this life.

The second celebration was a graduation here at Psychic Horizons. Two people graduated from clairvoyant training that same Sunday, which is where I was. They had both gone through tremendous changes, had done a lot of separating, completing and healing with their respective contentious relationships with family, and felt a lot of peace around that. They had supported each other during the program, and were getting to what they each felt was their “authentic” selves. They get to start from new places after going through their transitions, and feel more at peace with themselves.

She was fearful and anxious about everything that was going on politically.

During a reading a few weeks ago, one of the readers was somewhat agitated. I asked her what was going on, and she said she was fearful and anxious about everything that was going on politically. I asked her if she had been making separations from all of that. She said “no,” because she felt that if she separated that meant she didn’t care. I suggested to her that making separations had nothing to do with not caring, it just meant that she could take care of her space and not allow the outside turmoil to inject itself into her life. She could have her own life, and care about what was going on, without having to be anxious and fearful. She began to make those separations and said she felt like a weight had been lifted.

Another student was telling me that she had had many “tragedies” in her life the last 5 years, and it was difficult to heal because of all of these tragedies. I asked her if she was making separations from them, keeping them outside of her space and de-energizing them. She said “no”, because she was afraid to look at them. But it was clear that all of these “tragedies” were still inside her space, which was causing the anxiety and fear.

I advised her take some of the charge off of these events by not labeling them “tragedies”, which has a lot of heavy energy in it! She can look at these events as just “experiences” in her life, without all the heavy energy. Then she can give herself permission to look at them from a neutral space (center of her head), keep the pictures outside her aura, and de-energize them. I’m sure that if she follows those instructions, her anxiety will gradually disappear.

Making separations and completions is tremendously healing.

Making separations and completions is tremendously healing. It allows you to be in your own space, and live your life, without having your issues, incompletions and “tragedies” be so invasive and distracting. Much anxiety is caused because of patterns of incompletion and of allowing issues to stay energized in your space.

Keeping your attention in the center of your head, both in and out of meditation, allows you to have your own perspective and not lose yourself in whatever’s going on. These tools are particularly important now with all the political turmoil in our society. You can practice these principles in both in and out of meditation, then watch your self-empowerment grow!

As always, thanks for supporting Psychic Horizons & the Church of Natural Grace with your sustainable giving! It truly makes a difference, both for us and for you.

Best regards,
Rev. Laura Hopper
